Sheetmetal Tradesperson

We are seeking an experienced Sheetmetal Worker to join a busy fabrication workshop manufacturing custom sheet metal components and industrial products. This is a great permanent position offering great benefits and a variety of fabrication work in a stable, workshop-focused role.

THE ROLE:

• MIG and TIG welding on sheetmetal, steel and aluminium
• Fabricate custom metal and structural components
• General fitting, assembly and repair work
• Operate press brakes, guillotines and power tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings and sketches
• Occasional site installation and repair work when required

ABOUT YOU:

• Trade Qualified Sheet Metal Worker and 2+ years sheetmetal experience
• Proficient with MIG and TIG welding
• Must have a white card and driver's licence
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience operating workshop production machinery
• Strong focus on detail, quality and workplace safety
